DEFINITION: "Direct Vent" means that combustion air enters through the same pipe through which the exhaust exits. Double wall pipe construction allows for combustion air and exhaust gas to pass each other without contamination. Minimum vertical rise is 24". Then, termination can occur directly out the wall.
