READ ALL DIRECTIONS, MSDS AND WARNINGS ON
LABEL BEFORE USING FOR CLEANING VERY DIRTY STEAM BOILERS WITH EXCESSIVE
SCALE, RUST AND MUCK.
Pour or pump 8-WAY into the boiler. Add
enough to turn water violet. One quart is usually sufficient to treat a
boiler
with up to 30 gallons water content. (Approximately 600 square feet of
radiation, or 5 (B.H.P.)
Allow to steam for ½ to 3 hours, then
drain and flush.
Refill boiler with water and add one quart 8-WAY
for each quart originally used. Leave 8-WAY in system
to act as a
rust inhibitor and water conditioner.
FOR MAINTAINING CLEAN, RUST
FREE WATER AND FOR NEW INSTALLATIONS:
Add one quart of 8-WAY for
each 30 gallons of water content.
Add more if necessary to turn
water blue or violet.
Leave in system to condition water for a full
season.
FOR HOT WATER SYSTEMS:
Use 1 quart for each 25 gallons
of circulating water. Stops corrosion and scale.
